J.R. Rodriguez graduated with honors from Harvard College and then
served in the United States Marine Corps as an Intelligence Officer.
He was decorated for his service as the Scout Sniper Platoon Commander
for the 24 th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable)
in Mogadishu, Somalia. Mr. Rodriguez then left the Marine Corps to
attend The Law School at the University of Chicago, where he earned
his J.D.
Mr. Rodriguez practices exclusively in litigation and trial related
matters. An experienced trial lawyer, Mr. Rodriguez has successfully
tried products liability, business tort, and commercial litigation
cases. He also represents clients in employment litigation, contract
disputes, and personal injury cases. Mr. Rodriguez’s efforts
in a three-week jury trial helped win the National Law Journal’s “Defense
Win of the Year” in 2002.
