Mr. Tolley earned his J.D. as a Cornerstone Scholar from the University of Chicago Law School in 2003. He received the Thomas R. Mulroy Prize for excellence in appellate advocacy and oral argument in the Hinton Moot Court Competition, and later served on the Hinton Moot Court Board. Prior to law school, Mr. Tolley attended Brigham Young University on scholarship and served as Vice-President of his freshman class. He graduated in three years with a B.A. in International Studies: Law & Diplomacy and a minor in German Studies. Before joining the firm, Mr. Tolley practiced complex commercial litigation in Dallas for both a large international law firm as well as a local trial boutique.
